Maximum Site app privacy notice
Who we are
The Maximum Industrial Group Limited is registered in England & Wales, Company No. 17360049. Registered office: Lancaster Park, Newborough Road, Needwood, Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, DE13 9PD. We are the data controller for personal data handled by the Maximum Site app for iPhone and the services behind it. The app is run day to day by Maximum Matting, one of our brands, whose team answers its chat.
This notice covers the app only. Our website notice covers maximumindustrialgroup.co.uk, and each brand site publishes its own notice for its own forms and orders.
What the app collects
- Account details: your email address and, if you add them, your name, company and phone number. A trade account application also includes your company and VAT numbers.
- Messages and photos you send in the Experts chat, and when you sent them.
- Quote requests and Site Walks you choose to share: the products and quantities, site name and postcode, and the hazards you selected.
- A push notification token for your phone, if you allow notifications, so we can tell you when we reply.
Site Walks, their photos and your inspection register are kept on your phone. They reach us only if you share them. The app has no advertising, no analytics and no tracking across other apps or websites, and we do not sell personal data.
Why we use it
- To sign you in. We email you a one-time code; there are no passwords.
- To answer your questions, prepare quotes and handle orders and trade accounts.
- To notify you about your conversations and, only if you turn on Offers and news, occasionally about products. You can turn that off in the app at any time.
- To keep the business records we are required to keep.
Under UK GDPR we rely on performance of a contract, or steps you ask us to take before one, to provide the app and answer requests; on our legitimate interests to support customers and keep the service secure; and on your consent for offers and news.
Who else processes it
The app runs on third-party infrastructure that processes data on our instructions:
- Cloudflare hosts the app's servers, database and photo storage.
- Resend sends sign-in code emails.
- Apple delivers push notifications.
Our own staff see your messages, photos, quote requests and shared walks so they can help you. It stays inside this company.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and conversations while you use the app. Sign-in codes expire after ten minutes. When you delete your account the data is deleted at once, except order records we must keep for accounting and tax.
Deleting your account, and your rights
In the app, go to Account → Delete account. That permanently deletes your account, chats, photos, quote requests, shared Site Walks and push tokens.
You can also ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it.

The app is for businesses and is not directed at children.
Changes
