What this site collects
There is no contact form, no account and no sign-up here, so there is nothing for you to submit through the site itself.
This site sets no cookies. To understand how the site is used, we run Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service. It records the page you viewed, the site that referred you, any campaign tags in the link you followed, which of our product or contact links you clicked, and coarse device information (browser, operating system, screen size and country).
Umami does not set cookies, does not store an identifier on your device and does not track you across other websites. Your IP address is used only to work out an approximate location and is not stored. We never send it your name, email address or anything you type. Loading the Umami script means your browser makes a request to Umami's servers (cloud.umami.is); its own privacy policy is at umami.is/privacy.
We use this on the basis of our legitimate interest in knowing which parts of the site are useful. Because nothing is stored on your device, no consent banner is needed. Fonts and images are served from this site itself.
If you email us
Writing to the address published on this site is the only way to send us personal data through it. We then hold whatever your message contains — usually your name, your email address, and whatever you choose to tell us — on the terms below.
Why we can use it, and for how long
We handle your enquiry on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us about our business, and where your enquiry concerns a contract, in order to take steps at your request before entering into one.
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months so we can pick up a conversation where it left off, then delete them. If your enquiry becomes an order or an account, the record moves to the relevant brand and is kept for as long as our accounting and tax obligations require.
Who else sees it
Our website hosting and our email run on third-party infrastructure, which means our email provider processes your message on our instructions in order to deliver it to us. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
If your enquiry is really for one of our brands, we will pass it to that brand so it can be answered. It stays inside this company.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us
to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it.
